Request a table

Request a table for dinner, or a seat upstairs

Two kinds of booking are taken here: a table in the dining room for dinner, and a seat in the casino room for the evening. Please choose the one you want.

Before you write

Dinner and the tables are booked separately

A dinner booking holds a table in the dining room for a stated time. A casino room booking holds a place among the six tables upstairs for the evening. You may request one, or the other, or both in a single message, and the form lets you say which.

Chloe Gardner reads every request herself and replies by email, normally within a day. She will confirm the time, tell you if the evening is full, and suggest another when it is. Nothing is charged for a booking, and no payment of any kind is taken in advance.

Requests are made by this form or by telephone on +61 2 4782 6314 during opening hours. Casino room places are for guests aged 18 and over, and identification is checked at the top of the stairs.

In brief

What to know about a booking

  • A dinner table is held for fifteen minutes after the stated time, and the host telephones before releasing it.
  • A casino room place is for the whole evening, and a short note is appreciated if your plans change.
  • Groups of up to eight are seated at the long table and should ask for it by name in the comment box.
  • Dietary needs are noted at booking so the kitchen can plan; please mention them rather than hope.
  • Nothing is paid when you book, and the hall does not take card details through this website.
  • Children may come to dinner; the casino room and its stairs are for guests aged 18 and over only.
